Aline has been working in clay since 1998. She was initially attracted to a workshop entitled "The Tile As Art"  with Tracy Grauel. Since then she has taken numerous workshops. Her most influential teachers are Korean master potter of Sarasota, Ki Woon Huh, and Walter Yovaish of the Venice Art Center, and Carla O'Brien of Carla's Clay.
