Barbara Aline Blanchard is the author of two novels, three poetry books, and dozens of articles and short stories.

In 1981, she founded the still-thriving Pocono Writers with an Amontillado-sherry toast to Edgar Allen Poe. Her poetry readings were dramatic , humorous, and emotional.

Barbara Aline taught  English, creative, and business writing throughout the United States, Canada, and Bermuda.

Though she was in demand as an editor and corporate writer, in 1996, she she gave up the corporate world to sculpt, paint and write.

She divides her time between her homes in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Casey Key, Florida.

Her book of poems, edited by singer-songwriter-poet Virginia Wagner Galfo, is available at Amazon, Kindle, and iuniverse. All profits will be donated to
